We always use millimetres or ‘mm’ for short as the unit of measurement on this website.
We find that the easiest way to measure your doors is by using the back of the door (as the back tends to be flat).
Measure from side to side (this gives you the width), and then, measure from top to the bottom (this gives you the height).
The measurements we use are millimetres or mm for short.
As you look at the front of your kitchen unit. If your cabinet hinges are mounted on the left hand side, you will require a left hand hinged door. If your cabinet hinges are mounted on the right hand side of the unit you will require a right hand hinged door.
On the Click Doors website, our hinge hole measurements are always based on the centre of the hinge hole (rather than the top or bottom of the hole).
We would recommend measuring from the top of the door down to the first hinge hole and from the bottom of the door up to the first hinge hole.
These are decorative components used to complete the fitting of your cabinets. These include items such as plinths, end panels, cornice and pelmet.
This is completely normal. The door is slightly smaller to allow for opening clearance so the doors don’t make contact with one another when opening or closing.
Yes. We can make bespoke doors in almost all of our ranges. There will be a minimum and maximum size that is possible. Check out the page of the style that you like for more details or contact us for advice on service on 01234 889977.

Click Doors have been asked this question many times. When deciding between gloss or matt for kitchens, you should weigh factors like maintenance, durability, and overall aesthetic appeal.
Matt kitchens tend to be easier for cleaning – especially when you think about how both finishes handle fingerprints.
High gloss kitchens tend to be better in small spaces as the finish is more reflective and therefore brighter.
There tends to be more colour and door style options available as Matt but think about trending styles, personal preferences, and cost comparisons.
The answer is ultimately a matter of personal preference!
When deciding between glossy or matt kitchen cabinets, consider reflective surfaces, light reflection, cleaning maintenance, modern aesthetic, and fingerprints visibility.
Reflective surfaces of glossy cabinets can create a sleek, modern look, but require more cleaning upkeep. Matt cabinets offer a more understated elegance, hiding imperfections well and needing less maintenance.
Ultimately, the choice depends on your personal style and how you want to balance maintenance and aesthetics in your kitchen design.
Cleaning challenges in high gloss kitchens can become a hassle, with fingerprints easily visible and scratches more likely to show. Reflection effects can lead to non-uniform colours, affecting the overall appearance.
Maintenance requirements are higher due to the need for frequent cleaning to keep the shine intact. Consider these factors when deciding between high gloss and matt kitchens to ensure your choice aligns with your desired kitchen aesthetic.
The glossy finish not only adds a touch of elegance but also makes your kitchen feel brighter and more vibrant.
While they may require some cleaning maintenance to keep fingerprints at bay, high gloss kitchens are durable, and come in a variety of colour options to suit your style.
When installing Click Doors’ replacement kitchen doors some basic tools are required. Use a tape measure to measure the doors before ordering. You can also use the tape measure to measure your existing hinge hole positions – if you would like these to be predrilled.
Then use a screwdriver to fix the kitchen replacement cupboard door onto the cabinet.
Having these tools on hand will ensure a smooth and efficient process, allowing you to transform your kitchen with ease.
